Sioux City hosts the Varsity tournament for the first time.

Mason City Mohawks wins its first regular-season championship and first tournament championship.

Sioux City Metros hosted the Varsity Year-End Tournament at the Sioux City Auditorium in Sioux City, March 6-8. The Varsity tournament banquet was held Saturday evening in the first floor of the Sioux City Auditorium.
