SEASON NOTES

Charter member Waterloo Columbus exits the League.

St. Joseph Griffons and Omaha Jr. Lancers join the League for a total of 10 teams.

The League is divided into East and West divisions with each team playing a 26-game schedule.

Dubuque Devils wins its first regular-season championship.

Sioux City Metros wins its first tournament championship.

Ames Little Cyclones host the Varsity Year-End Tournament at the Cyclone Area Community Center, February 28-March 3. Banquet speaker was William Boon an Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture at Iowa State University.
