Ankeny exits the League.

The League is officially incorporated as a non-profit organization called the Iowa High School Hockey League, Inc.

The IHSHL Board of Directors implements the Coach-of-the-Year award to be presented annually by a vote of the League's coaches.

Sioux City Jr. Musketeers changes name to Sioux City Metro.

For the first time Ames hosts an invitational Jr. Varsity year-end tournament.
